About Wings of Rescue: Since their founding in 2012, Wings of Rescue has flown a total of 2,311,988 miles to fly 81,489 pets to safety, deliver 906,597 pounds of humanitarian and veterinary aid to disaster victims, and provided 13,862 free spay/neuter procedures to low-income families’ pets. They have touched down in all 50 U.S. States, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, 8 provinces of Canada, Mexico, and 15 Caribbean nations – plus assisted in rescues in Thailand, Korea, and China. Wings of Rescue has responded to nearly every natural disaster in North America since 2017 – hurricanes throughout the Gulf of Mexico states and the Caribbean, wildfires in California and the Northwest Territories, floods in Texas, Kentucky, and Nebraska, earthquakes in Haiti, volcanoes in St. Vincent, and tornadoes in Georgia, to name a few.
